Sunbeams of the Sacred

Journeyer's to the altar of transformation

must surrender all that they know to be true

Sacrifice their ideas

of righteousness and wrongdoing

Suspend the notion

of one dimensionality

And devotionally

open their hearts

To the remembrance

of their Infinite capacity

and ability

To give

And receive

Love

- Kelsey Marie

“Wisdom is knowing I am nothing, Love is knowing I am everything, and between the two my life moves.” - Nisargadatta Maharaj

pathway in the forest

The space of the physical world that can be perceived with the senses, the world of ideas that can be understood with the intellect and processed in linear understanding, lies on the surface of the immaterial that can only be captured with the knowing that resides deep within the well of subtleties.

There are reservoirs of ancient knowledge and vats of humbly gained experience that exist within your bones, that together, manifest a wisdom more potent than anything outside of you can fathom. It is the place where all that is true and real unfolds into the tapestry of your unique soul imprint and human expression.

In this quiet, still palace, you sense the presence of all you will ever need. An innate naturalness that reflects the sunbeams of the sacred as you dance to the rhythm of old growth wisdom and sing the songs of the divine.

To offer yourself in service of this devotion is a selfless act of courage. To be guided into pathways unknown by trusting your inner most instinct, regardless of the friction, is an expansive act of allowance. It is this inner teacher that will walk with you to the destination, for IT IS the destination.

“There is the grain of the prophet in the recesses of every human existence.” - Rabbi Heschel

There are many wise and necessary guides on this path. These teachers can initiate you, welcome you into their inner ocean of knowing and bathe you in its radiance. They can equip you with tools to navigate and wield in service to your own becoming.

These teachers are the stepping stones that will lead you to the greatest teacher of all, the one residing inside of your heart. They will help you learn the language that speaks through the oracle of your body, teach you to translate the messages in the stars that will take you to the constellation of your own divine nature.

I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” ― Mother Teresa

We learn from these teachers, the same way we learn to walk.

We must become the teaching.

There is no other way.

The download of information, the awakening of awareness is just the beginning.

Embodiment of this awakening is the real journey. This does not begin in the refined atmosphere of transcendence, but in the depths and chaos of the lived experience.

It is a devotional process to radical embodiment where in each moment, as it unfolds, you accept the invitation to rest deeply in the infinite space within and willingly and joyfully open to the divine guidance ushering you onward.

If you are sincere in this pursuit, the light of your innermost being, your own divine intelligence, the wise teacher residing inside, will come rushing forth to meet your outer expression, and everything that stands in the way of its truth will be cast aside in its holy light.

“We are always looking outward, listening to our teachers who come with their own problems and limitations and we ignore the most supreme teacher within ourselves. The only way to evolve, to progress, to truly practice, is to listen to our inner teacher.” - Prashant Iyengar

I am not referring here to the self glorification that is paraded on the internet, or the performances we charade on the side, as a hobby, or another way to make a dollar. This wisdom is not something that can be faked or exploited. The embodied expression of your inner wisdom must be experienced, rooted in a context of humanity, and felt in everyday life.

The great gurus, the most honored teachers of our time have shown that living in their personal authority did not save them from pain, conflict, judgment, or suffering. Many were imprisoned and persecuted for their resolution to honor their inner knowing, to speak with the voice of their inner teacher. This is why they are great. Something truthful and real was served through them, and it changed the world.

They used their inward journey as a platform to create outward change. The God within them, united with the God outside of them. They were never divided from their divinity.

This is the true invitation.

The practice that carves a unique imprint onto your essence that reminds you of your soul inscription, that this earthside visit is a temporary teaching to shatter illusions of separation. To be striped bare, to lay down your armor, so all that is left is your own truth. The truth that is nothing other than pure love. The truth that can only be gleaned from the wise teacher within your eternal being.

“This is the definition of bravery: not being afraid of yourself” - Chogyam Trungpa

This is my infinite devotion.

To you, my beloved sangha, and to myself.

To extend my hand to hold the holy moment, from the mundane to the sacred.

To walk with you to the edge of the abyss of your own knowing, and hold your hand as you gaze into the truth shining behind your own eyes. To ceaselessly refine and polish the altar of my heart so that as you build your own, you may find sanctuary in my presence, as I find peace in yours.

“We are all just walking each other home” - Ram Dass
